Why we built Treatlly

Treatlly started in 2024 from a fairly ordinary observation: the software an Indian OPD clinic can actually afford tends to be built for a hospital, and the software built for clinics tends to be a booking marketplace that charges per patient. Neither fits a practice with two doctors, one receptionist and a queue that starts before the shutter goes up.

We are based in Patna, Bihar, which is not incidental. Most product decisions here were shaped by clinics outside the metros — places where the front desk runs on a paper register and a mobile phone, where patients arrive without appointments, and where a system that assumes uninterrupted connectivity or a full-time IT person is simply not going to survive contact with a Monday morning.

Who this is for

Treatlly is built for single-doctor and small multi-doctor OPD practices, polyclinics, and small clinic groups running more than one location. If your day involves scheduled appointments alongside walk-ins, a receptionist who is also answering the phone, and a doctor who wants a prescription out of the room in under a minute, the product was designed around that shape of day.

It is deliberately not a hospital information system. There is no inpatient module, no operation theatre scheduling, no ward management. Deciding what not to build is what keeps the configuration simple enough that a clinic can set it up without a consultant. The feature list is a complete statement of scope rather than a highlight reel, and the rollout patterns show how those pieces get combined in practice.

What "0% commission" actually means

It is worth being precise, because the phrase is used loosely across this market. On Treatlly you pay a flat monthly subscription for the software. We do not take a percentage of consultation fees, we do not charge a per-booking fee, and we do not take a cut when a patient pays you. A clinic seeing 200 patients in a month pays the same subscription as one seeing 20.

The practical difference shows up as volume grows. Commission pricing scales with your success, so the better your month, the larger the bill — and the incentive of the platform is to sit between you and your patient, because that is where the fee is collected. A flat fee removes that incentive entirely. Your patients book on your domain, your storefront carries your name, and the relationship stays yours.

Payment gateway charges are a separate matter and are not ours: when a patient pays online, the gateway takes its own processing fee, exactly as it would if you had integrated one yourself. We are transparent about which costs are ours and which are not — the clinic software pricing page sets out the plans, what each includes, and the add-ons that are charged separately.

How we work

Every feature is expected to map to something a real receptionist or doctor does. That sounds obvious, and it is the discipline most easily lost once a roadmap gets long. In practice it means we would rather ship one scheduling concept that survives a chaotic OPD day than five that demo well.

If you are evaluating Treatlly and want to know whether it fits your practice, the fastest route is a conversation rather than a feature comparison — tell us how your clinic runs today and we will tell you honestly whether this is the right tool for it.
